Number 2# in the World
On the 8th November 2009, Mark Tucker Head Instructor at the Combat Athletics Academy competed in the BJJ No Gi Worlds in Long Beach California. Mark returned after winning Siliver in his weight catgory and Bronze in the Absolute catgory.

Gold Medals for the Combat Athletics Academy
On the 6th September, members of the Combat Athletics' Academy made the long journey to Bristol, to enter the Bristol BJJ Open.
Mark Tucker defeated the European champion to win Gold in the purple belt masters division
Kieran Hambly won Gold in both his weight division and the absolute in the Blue belt division
Sam Gilbert won Silver in the white belt junior division

Mark Tucker and all the members of the Combat Athletics Academy, would like to thank Sifu Rick Young for officially opening Combat Athletics Academy. During Rick's two day stay he taught Jun Fan Jeet Kune Do, Filipino Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu jitsu. Also we would like to thank Paul Meakins for taking time out and being at the opening of the Combat Athletics Academy, it was good to share this moment with him.
